A strong hurricane will approach the Caribbean this week. When it gets close to the Northeast Caribbean, it will start to curve. How quickly will that curve happen? It is too early to tell if it will miss the Caribbean or impact some of our islands. Please spread the video to get the word out that a system will be close by on Friday and Saturday.
Will it hit land? Almost all models take this VERY close to the Northeast Caribbean. That does not mean it will hit our islands, but at this point we need to spread awareness about the possibility. The European Model shows a curve away from the Caribbean, while the American Model takes it into some islands.
This new area will become a tropical depression and then a tropical storm by mid-week. Late week, it will become a hurricane (Hurricane Lee). I will monitor very close if this impacts the islands. Let’s hope this stays away. I am watching this SUPER closely! Thank you! – Brian
